Abstract

Banten's FTT in March 2024 was 112.70, a decrease of 2.52 percent from the previous month. This is due to the decrease in the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) by 1.84 percent and the increase in the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) by 0.69 percent.
In March 2024 there will be an increase in the Household Consumption Index in Banten Province by 0.87 percent. The increase in the Household Consumption Index occurred in ten expenditure groups, namely Health; Food, Beverages and Tobacco; Personal Care and Other Services; Clothing and Footwear; Provision of Food and Beverage/Restaurant; Supplies, Equipment and Routine Household Maintenance; Transportation; Recreation, Sports and Culture; Housing, Water, Electricity and Household Fuel; and Information, Communication and Financial Services. Meanwhile, the Education expenditure group did not experience significant changes.
The Banten Agricultural Business Exchange Rate in March 2024 was 118.41 or down 1.94 percent compared to the previous month.
The price of grain at the farmer level in March 2024 experienced a decline in the quality of milled dry grain (GKG) by 8.27 percent and a decline in the quality of harvested dry grain (GKP) by 9.00 percent.
The average price of grain in March 2024 at the farmer level for GKG quality is IDR 8,000, and GKP IDR 6,837 per kg. For GKG quality, the highest price is IDR 9,500 for the Pandan Wangi variety and the lowest price is IDR 6,800 for the Ciherang variety.
