Abstract

A. Export Development

  • Banten's export value in June 2022 rose 15.01 percent compared to the previous month, from US$1.04 billion to US$1.19 billion.
  • Non-oil and gas exports in June 2022 increased by 14.29 percent to US$1.17 billion compared to the previous month.
  • The largest non-oil and gas export value in June 2022 came from the footwear category (HS 64), which reached US$258.13 million.
  • The largest non-oil and gas export destination country in June 2022 was the United States with an export value of US$206.97 million.
  • Non-oil and gas exports in June 2022 experienced a decline in the agricultural sector, but there was an increase in exports in the manufacturing sector, as well as the mining and other sectors, when compared to the previous month.
  • Banten's highest export value in June 2022 was through Tanjung Priok Port, which reached US$1.03 billion.

B. Import Development

  • Banten's import value in June 2022 fell 4.52 percent compared to the previous month, from US$1.75 billion to US$1.67 billion.
  • Oil and gas imports in June 2022 which fell 18.90 percent from US$845.74 million in the previous month to US$685.86 million. In contrast to oil and gas, for non-oil and gas commodities, the import value increased by 8.95 percent to US$984.20 million compared to the previous month.
  • The largest non-oil and gas import value in June 2022 came from the organic chemical group (HS 29) which reached US$212.42 million.
  • The largest supplier of non-oil and gas imported goods in June 2022 was Australia with an import value of US$126.28 million.
  • The value of imports by category of use of goods in June 2022 compared to the previous month, there was an increase in the value of imports in the category of consumption goods and capital goods, while the decline in the value of imports occurred in raw/auxiliary materials.
  • Judging from the port of unloading, the largest import value for June 2022 came from Merak Port which reached US$1.03 billion.
