Export and Import Development of Banten Province March 2025

A. Export Development

• Banten's export value in March 2025 fell 0.10 percent compared to the previous month, from US$1,084.35 million to US$1,083.25 million.
• Non-oil and gas exports in March 2025 decreased by 0.17 percent to US$1,079.24 million compared to the previous month.
• The largest non-oil and gas export value in March 2025 came from the cocoa/chocolate goods group (HS 18), reaching US$99.77 million.
• The largest non-oil and gas export destination in March 2025 was the United States with an export value of US$166.73 million.
• Non-oil and gas exports in March 2025 increased in the agriculture, mining and other sectors, while the processing industry sector decreased.
• The highest Banten export value in March 2025 was through Tanjung Priok Port, reaching US$905.12 million.

B. Import Development

• Banten's import value in March 2025 increased by 1.83 percent compared to the previous month, namely from US$3,261.58 million to US$3,321.12 million.
• Oil and gas imports in March 2025 increased by 20.18 percent from US$423.56 million in the previous month to US$509.03 million. In contrast, for non-oil and gas commodities, there was a decrease in import value of 0.91 percent to US$2,812.09 million compared to the previous month.
• The largest non-oil and gas import value in March 2025 came from electrical machinery/equipment (HS 85) which reached US$691.55 million.
• The largest supplier of non-oil and gas imports in March 2025 was China with an import value of US$830.90 million.
• The import value according to the category of use of goods in March 2025 compared to the previous month increased in almost all categories of goods. Consumer goods rose by US$70.35 million (39.67 percent), capital goods rose by US$46.02 million (5.76 percent), while raw/auxiliary materials fell by US$56.83 million (2.49 percent).
