Abstract

One of the main problems in Banten Province is the high unemployment rate. To overcome this problem, a policy in the field of employment that is appropriate and based on the latest accurate data is needed.The Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) for Banten Province since 2011 has released provincial employment data for the months of February and August. The data release is delivered in the form of Official Statistical Gazette (BRS). To complement the review presented at the BRS, BPS Banten Province compiled an executive report regarding the condition of the Banten Province workforce. The publication "The State of the Banten Province Workforce in August 2023" is a more in-depth review of the state of the workforce in August 2023.
