ECONOMY OF BANTEN 2ND QUARTER OF 2017 GROW 5.52 PERCENT

The economy of Banten in Quarter II-2017 measured by Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices reached 138.61 trillion rupiah and GRDP at constant 2010 prices reached 101.53 trillion rupiah.
Economic Banten second quarter-2017 against the previous quarter grew faster by 2.26 percent (q-to-q).
The economy of Banten in the second quarter of 2017 grew faster than the same period in 2016 at 5.52 percent (y-on-y).
Cumulatively, Banten's economy in the second quarter of 2017 grew by 5.73 percent with the highest growth rate occurring in Agricultural, Forestry and Fishery (11.54 percent); Information and Communication (8.06 percent) and Provision of Accommodation and Drinking Meals by 7.93 percent. On the expenditure side achieved by the Gross Fixed Capital Formation Component of 9.98 percent and the Household Consumption Component of 5.38 percent.
