Abstract

Banten's economy based on the amount of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) based on current prices in the third quarter of 2022 reached Rp. 189.04 trillion and at constant 2010 prices of Rp. 121.03 trillion.
Banten economy in the third quarter of 2022 compared to the previous quarter grew by 0.50 percent (q-to-q). In terms of production, the business field with the highest growth was achieved by the Construction business sector at 5.26 percent. Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, the Government Consumption Component experienced the highest growth of 8.15 percent.
Banten's economy in the third quarter of 2022 compared to the third quarter of 2021 grew by 5.71 percent (y-on-y). In terms of production, the Transportation and Warehousing business field recorded the highest growth of 43.31 percent. In terms of expenditure, the highest growth was recorded by the Total Net Export Component of 13.70 percent.
Up to Quarter III-2022, Banten's economy grew by 5.47 percent (c-to-c). In terms of production, the highest growth was achieved by the Transportation and Warehousing business field of 29.69 percent. Meanwhile, from the expenditure side, the Total Net Export Component experienced the highest growth of 28.61 percent.
The economic structure of the provinces throughout Java in the third quarter of 2022 was still dominated by DKI Jakarta, which contributed 29.23 percent to the GRDP on the island of Java. Meanwhile, Banten contributed 6.88 percent.
