Banten Economy Quarter III-2021 0.53 Percent (Q-to-Q)

Abstract

Banten's economy based on the amount of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) based on current prices in the third quarter of 2021 reached Rp. 165.71 trillion and at constant prices in 2010 it reached Rp. 114.64 trillion.

Banten's economy in the third quarter of 2021 compared to the previous quarter grew by 0.53 percent (q-to-q). In terms of production, the Construction Business Field experienced the highest growth of 6.52 percent. Meanwhile, from the expenditure side, the Net Export Component experienced the highest growth of 3.83 percent.

Banten's economy in the third quarter of 2021 compared to the third quarter of 2020 grew by 4.62 percent (y-on-y). In terms of production, the Electricity and Gas Procurement Business Field experienced the highest growth of 14.53 percent. From the expenditure side, the Net Export Component experienced the highest growth of 37.39 percent.

Banten's economy up to quarter III-2021 experienced a growth of 4.27 percent (c-to-c). In terms of production, the largest growth occurred in the Health Services and Social Activities Business Field of 13.22 percent. Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, almost all components grew, the highest growth occurred in the Net Export Component of 30.40 percent.

The economic structure of the Provinces of Java Island in the third quarter of 2021 was still dominated by DKI Jakarta Province which contributed to the Gross Regional Domestic Product throughout Java by 29.38 percent, followed by East Java Province at 25.33 percent, Java Province West by 22.50 percent. Meanwhile, Banten Province contributed 6.72 percent.
