Abstract

Banten economy in 2019 grew 5.53 percent, lower than the achievements in 2018 of 5.82 percent. In terms of production, the highest growth was achieved by the Communication and Information Business Field at 8.98 percent. In terms of expenditure, the highest growth was achieved by the Nonprofit Institution Consumption Component (LNPRT), which grew by 7.47 percent.
Banten economy in quarter IV-2019 compared to quarter IV-2018 (y-on-y) grew 5.90 percent. In terms of production, the highest growth was achieved by the Construction Business Field at 9.19 percent. In terms of expenditure, the highest growth was achieved by the Total Net Export Component of 20.58 percent.
Banten economy in the fourth quarter of 2019 increased by 1.46 percent (q-to-q). In terms of production, the highest growth was in the Construction Business Field at 6.09 percent. While in terms of expenditure achieved by the Government Expenditure Component which increased by 42.44 percent.
The economic structure of the Province of Java in 2019 is still dominated by DKI Jakarta Province which contributes to the 29.94 percent Gross Regional Domestic Product of Java, followed by East Java Province by 24.80 percent, West Java Province by 22 , 40 percent. Meanwhile, Banten Province contributed 7.01 percent
