Banten Economy Quarter III-2019 Grows 5.41 Percent

Abstract

Banten economy based on the amount of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) based on current prices in the third quarter of 2019 reached Rp 168.91 trillion and at the base of constant prices in 2010 reached Rp 116.16 trillion.

Banten economy in the third quarter of 2019 grew 5.41 percent (y-on-y). From the production side, growth was driven by almost all business fields, with the highest growth being achieved by Other Service Businesses at 9.12 percent. In terms of expenses, the highest growth was achieved by the Non-Profit Institution Expenditure Component, which grew by 9.45 percent.

Banten economy in the third quarter of 2019 increased by 2.80 percent (q-to-q). In terms of production, the highest growth was in the Construction Business Field at 8.55 percent. While from the expenditure side achieved by the Total Net Export Component which grew by 15.47 percent.

Banten economy until the third quarter of 2019 (c-to-c) grew 5.40 percent. From the production side, growth is driven by all business sectors except Transportation and Warehousing; Electricity and Gas Procurement. The highest growth was in the Information and Communication business by 8.94 percent. While from the expenditure side, it was mainly driven by the Non-Profit Institution Expenditure Component which grew by 8.92 percent.

The economic structure of the Province of Java in quarter III-2019 is still dominated by DKI Jakarta Province which contributed to the Gross Regional Domestic Product of Java by 29.97 percent, then followed by East Java Province by 24.89 percent, West Java Province by 22.33 percent. Meanwhile, Banten Province contributed 6.92 percent
