The Farmer's Exchange Rate (NTP) in July 2021 was 95.87, down 1.88 percent from the previous month.

Abstract

Banten's NTP in July 2021 was 95.87, a decrease of 1.88 percent from the NTP of the previous month. This is due to a decrease in the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) by 1.73 percent and an increase in the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) by 0.16 percent.

In July 2021, rural inflation in Banten Province will be 0.16 percent. Inflation occurred in seven expenditure groups, namely: Food, Beverages and Tobacco; Housing, Water, Electricity and Household Fuel Group; Household Equipment, Equipment and Routine Maintenance Group; Health Group; Transportation Group; Recreational, Sports, and Cultural Groups; and Education Group. Meanwhile, the Clothing and Footwear Group experienced deflation and the other three groups did not experience a change in the price index.

The Banten Agricultural Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) in July 2021 was 95.86, down 1.88 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.

The average price of grain at the farm level in July 2021 has increased for Milled Dry Unhusked (GKG) by 1.49 percent, and Dry Harvested Unhulled (GKP) by 2.41 percent. Meanwhile, for Low Quality Grain, it decreased by 11.99 percent.

The average price of grain in July 2021 at the farmer level with GKG quality is Rp. 4.315,-, GKP Rp. 4.010,- and Low Quality Rp. 3.206,- per Kg. For the quality of GKG on Ciherang and IR64 varieties with the lowest price of Rp. 4,200 and the highest price is Rp. 4.500,- with Ciherang variety.

The nominal wage of farm workers in July 2021 is Rp. 66,652,- per day, up 0.07 percent from the previous month. Meanwhile, in real terms, it decreased by 0.09 percent, from Rp. 60,508,- to Rp. 60,453,- per day.
