Abstract

  • Banten's economy based on the amount of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) based on current prices in the second quarter of 2022 reached Rp.184.08 trillion and at constant 2010 prices to Rp.120.41 trillion.
  • Banten economy in the second quarter of 2022 compared to the previous quarter grew by 0.95 percent (q-to-q). In terms of production, the business field with the highest growth was achieved by Transportation and Warehousing at 12.62 percent. Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, the Government Consumption Expenditure component experienced the highest growth of 17.39 percent.
  • Banten's economy in the second quarter of 2022 compared to the second quarter of 2021 grew by 5.70 percent (y-on-y). In terms of production, the Transportation and Warehousing business field recorded the highest growth of 28.73 percent. In terms of expenditure, the highest growth was recorded by the Total Net Export component of 34.69 percent.
  • Banten's economy in semester I-2022 compared to semester I-2021 grew by 5.34 percent (c-to-c). In terms of production, the highest growth was achieved by the Transportation and Warehousing business field of 23.34 percent. Meanwhile, from the expenditure side, the Total Net Export component experienced the highest growth of 35.77 percent.
  • The economic structure of the provinces throughout Java in the second quarter of 2022 was still dominated by DKI Jakarta, which contributed 29.46 percent to the GRDP of the island of Java. Meanwhile, Banten contributed 6.87 percent.
