Abstract

Banten's April 2024 FTT was 105.59, a decrease of 6.31 percent from the previous month's FTT. This is due to the decrease in the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) by 5.70 percent and the increase in the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) by 0.65 percent.
In April 2024 there will be an increase in the Household Consumption Index in Banten Province by 0.79 percent. The increase in the Household Consumption Index occurred in eight expenditure groups, namely Clothing and Footwear; Personal Care and Other Services; Food, Beverages and Tobacco; Transportation; Health; Housing, Water, Electricity and Household Fuel; Supplies, Equipment and Routine Household Maintenance; and Recreation, Sports, and Culture. Meanwhile, the Information, Communication and Financial Services expenditure group; Education; and Food and Beverage/Restaurant Provisions have not experienced significant changes.
The Banten Agricultural Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) in April 2024 was 111.49 or down 5.84 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.
The price of grain at the farmer level in April 2024 experienced a decline in the quality of milled dry grain (GKG) by 19.71 percent and a decline in the quality of harvested dry grain (GKP) by 26.15 percent.
The average price of grain in April 2024 at the farmer level for GKG quality is IDR 6,423, and GKP IDR 5,049 per kg. For GKG quality, the highest price is IDR 7,000 for the IR-64 variety and the lowest price is IDR 6,300 for the Ciherang variety.
