Development of Export and Import in Banten Province in February 2025

A. Export Development

• Banten's export value in February 2025 increased by 1.29 percent compared to the previous month, from US$1,070.52 million to US$1,084.35 million.
• Non-oil and gas exports in February 2025 increased by 1.16 percent to US$1,081.10 million compared to the previous month.
• The largest non-oil and gas export value in February 2025 came from the cocoa/chocolate goods group (HS 18), reaching US$127.68 million.
• The largest non-oil and gas export destination country in February 2025 was the United States with an export value of US$181.14 million.
• Non-oil and gas exports in February 2025 increased in the processing industry, mining and other sectors, while the agricultural sector decreased.
• The highest export value of Banten in February 2025 was through Tanjung Priok Port, reaching US$922.08 million.

B. Import Development

• Banten's import value in February 2025 increased by 18.30 percent compared to the previous month, namely from US$2,757.03 million to US$3,261.58 million.
• Oil and gas imports in February 2025 increased by 4.38 percent from US$405.78 million in the previous month to US$423.56 million. Similarly, non-oil and gas commodities also experienced an increase in import value of 20.70 percent to US$2,838.02 million compared to the previous month.
• The largest non-oil and gas import value in February 2025 came from electrical machinery/equipment (HS 85) which reached US$612.72 million.
• The largest supplier of non-oil and gas imports in February 2025 was China with an import value of US$865.87 million.
• The import value according to the use of goods in February 2025 compared to the previous month increased in all groups of goods. Consumer goods rose by US$9.88 million (5.90 percent), raw/auxiliary materials rose by US$248.20 million (12.18 percent), then capital goods rose by US$246.48 million (44.63 percent)
