Abstract

Banten's export value in January–April 2025 reached US$4,146.24 million or increased by 3.99 percent compared to the same period in 2024. In line with total exports, the value of non-oil and gas exports which reached US$4,124.74 million also increased by 3.98 percent and the value of oil and gas exports which reached US$21.50 million or increased by 7.60 percent.
Banten's export value in April 2025 reached US$908.12 million or increased by 3.88 percent compared to exports in April 2024. Non-oil and gas exports in April 2025 reached US$895.71 million, increased by 3.02 percent compared to April 2024.
Of the ten commodities with the largest non-oil and gas export values in January–April 2025, the commodity that experienced the largest increase was cocoa/chocolate (HS 18) of US$342.74 million (466.59 percent). Meanwhile, footwear (HS 64) experienced the largest decline of US$368.43 million (52.55 percent).
The largest non-oil and gas exports from January to April 2025 were to the United States at US$651.49 million, followed by China at US$476.92 million, and India at US$372.37 million, with the contribution of all three reaching 36.39 percent. Meanwhile, exports to ASEAN and the European Union (27 countries) were US$989.50 million and US$503.46 million, respectively.
By sector, non-oil and gas exports from the processing industry from January to April 2025 increased by 3.31 percent compared to the same period in 2024, as well as exports of agricultural, forestry, and fisheries products increasing by 3.06 percent, and exports of mining and other products increasing by 1,093.05 percent.
According to the loading port, Banten's largest exports in January–April 2025 were via Tanjung Priok port with a value of US$3,461.27 million (83.48 percent), followed by Tanjung Leneng US$217.74 million (5.25 percent) and Cigading US$202.80 million (4.89 percent).
