June 2020 the combined inflation of 3 CPI City in Banten Province was 0.16 percent.

Abstract

In June 2020 there was inflation of 0.16 percent with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 105.31. Of the 3 CPI cities in Banten Province, all cities experienced inflation. The highest inflation occurred in Cilegon City by 0.22 percent with CPI of 106.27 followed by Serang City of 0.18 with CPI of 106.97. Similar to the other two cities, Tangerang City also experienced inflation of 0.14 percent with CPI of 104.86.
Inflation occurs due to price increases indicated by the rise / fall of most index groups expenditure, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 0.46 percent; clothing and footwear group by 0.32 percent; housing, water, electricity and other fuels by 0.00 percent; the household appliances, equipment and routine maintenance group by -0.21 percent; health group of -0.22 percent; transportation group by 0,41 percent; information, communication and financial services group by -0.26 percent; recreation, sports and culture group by 0.59 percent; education group by 0,00 percent; food and beverage / restaurant supply group by 0.04 percent; and the personal care and other services group by -0.10 percent.
The inflation rate for the June 2020 calendar year is 1.17 percent and the year-on-year inflation rate (June 2020 against June 2019) is 2.50 percent.
