Abstract
In September 2020, the level of expenditure inequality of Banten residents as measured by the Gini Ratio was recorded at 0.365. This figure is an increase of 0.002 points when compared to the March 2020 Gini Ratio of 0.363.
The Gini Ratio in urban areas in September 2020 was recorded at 0.361, an increase compared to the Gini Ratio in March 2020 which was 0.360. Meanwhile, the Gini Ratio in rural areas in September 2020 was still the same as in March 2020, which was 0.296.
In September 2020, the distribution of expenditure for the bottom 40 percent of the population group was 18.71 percent. This means that population expenditure is still in the low level of inequality category. If broken down by region, in urban areas the figure is 18.99 percent and in rural areas it is 22.00 percent.
