Development of Banten Exports and Imports in March 2024
Banten's export value in March 2024 increased 16.96 percent compared to
the previous month, namely from US$0.95 billion to US$1.11 billion.
Non-oil and gas exports in March 2024 increased by 17.38 percent to
US$1.11 billion compared to the previous month.
The largest non-oil and gas export value in March 2024 came from the
footwear goods category (HS 64), reaching US$201.24 million.
The largest non-oil and gas export destination country in March 2024 is
the United States with an export value of US$155.25 million.
Non-oil and gas exports in March 2024 will increase in all sectors,
except the mining sector and others.
Banten's export value in March 2024 was highest through Tanjung Priok
Port, reaching US$938.16 million.
B.Import Development
Banten's import value in March 2024 increased 19.42 percent compared to
the previous month, namely from US$2.88 billion to US$3.43 billion.
Oil and gas imports in March 2024 increased 32.71 percent from
US$403.65 million in the previous month to US$ 535.69 million. For non-oil and
gas commodities, there was an increase in import value of 17.24 percent to
US$2.90 billion compared to the previous month.
The largest non-oil and gas import value in March 2024 came from
electrical machinery/equipment (HS 85) which reached US$881.26 million.
The largest supplier of non-oil and gas imported goods in March 2024 is
China with an import value of US$ 576.63 million.
The value of imports according to categories of use of goods in March
2024 compared to the previous month experienced an increase in all categories
of goods, raw/auxiliary materials increased by US$312.10 million (15.74
percent), capital goods increased by US$214.54 million (33.03 percent), and
consumer goods increased by US$31.57 million (13.03 percent).
