Development of Banten Exports and Imports in April 2024

A.      Export Development

• Banten's export value in April 2024 fell 21.35 percent compared to the previous month, namely from US$1,111.51 million to US$874.16 million.
• Non-oil and gas exports in April 2024 decreased by 21.69 percent to US$869.43 million compared to the previous month.
• The largest non-oil and gas export value in April 2024 came from the footwear goods category (HS 64), reaching US$144.46 million.
• The largest non-oil and gas export destination country in April 2024 is the United States with an export value of US$113.63 million.
• Non-oil and gas exports in April 2024 experienced a decline in all sectors, the highest decline occurred in the mining and other sectors.
• Banten's export value in April 2024 was highest through Tanjung Priok Port, reaching US$664.60 million.

B.      Import Development

• Banten's import value in April 2024 fell 12.85 percent compared to the previous month, namely from US$3,433.28 million to US$2,992.24 million.
• Oil and gas imports in April 2024 increased 15.79 percent from US$535.69 million in the previous month to US$620.28 million. For non-oil and gas commodities, the value of imports decreased by 18.14 percent to US$2,371.96 million compared to the previous month.
• The largest non-oil and gas import value in April 2024 came from electrical machinery/equipment (HS 85) which reached US$691.04 million.
• The largest supplier of non-oil and gas imported goods in April 2024 is China with an import value of US$509.29 million.
• The value of imports according to categories of use of goods in April 2024 compared to the previous month decreased in all categories of goods, the raw/auxiliary materials category decreased by US$ 192.16 million (8.37 percent), capital goods decreased by US$ 141.82 million (16.41 percent). percent), and consumer goods fell by US$107.05 million (39.09 percent).
