Development of Banten Exports and Imports in June 2024

A.        Export Development

• Banten's export value in June 2024 fell 20.46 percent compared to the previous month, from US$1,083.29 million to US$861.69 million.
• Non-oil and gas exports in June 2024 fell by 20.52 percent to US$856.98 million compared to the previous month.
• The largest non-oil and gas export value in June 2024 came from the copper goods group (HS 74), reaching US$93.78 million.
• The largest non-oil and gas export destination in June 2024 was China with an export value of US$109.21 million.
• Non-oil and gas exports in June 2024 increased in almost all sectors, except the manufacturing sector. The highest increase occurred in the agricultural sector.
• The highest Banten export value in June 2024 was through Tanjung Priok Port, reaching US$769.56 million.

 

B.      Import Development

• Banten's import value in June 2024 increased by 1.53 percent compared to the previous month, from US$2,875.68 million to US$2,919.68 million.
• Oil and gas imports in June 2024 increased by 16.27 percent from US$348.37 million in the previous month to US$405.06 million. Meanwhile, in non-oil and gas commodities, there was a decrease in import value of 0.50 percent to US$2,514.62 million compared to the previous month.
• The largest non-oil and gas import value in June 2024 came from mechanical machines/aircraft (HS 84) which reached US$378.40 million.
• The largest supplier of non-oil and gas imports in June 2024 was Singapore with an import value of US$496.04 million.

The import value by category of goods usage in June 2024 compared to the previous month for consumer goods and raw/auxiliary goods increased by US$32.12 million (17.51 ​​percent) and US$163.31 million (8.28 percent), respectively. Meanwhile, capital goods decreased by US$151.43 million (21.05 percent).
